This customer has a love of entertaining and you couldn’t find a better location than Lake Huron with it’s gorgeous views and crystal clear water. The only problem is the original deck and boardwalk had been demolished during the winter storms and needed a major transformation to be party ready!

We got to work clearing out the debris of what was left and designed the perfect backyard oasis with our customers vision in mind. This project included a new wooden crib with riprap back fill. We then covered the crib with a beautiful natural wood deck that was designed on a curve to elongate the property frontage. On the North side we have a step down platform area for storage of kayaks, paddleboards and easier access to the jet ski lift. The focal point of the deck offers a step down for boat docks to be attached for easier access to get further out into the lake for swimming and tie up for boats. Umbrella sleeves and audio were added to the deck as well. Near the house we refinished the decks, added concrete steps, landscaping framework of stones and limestone edging. Sod was then installed for a quicker solution to planting seed. On the second story we removed the old wooden railing and added the cable system for a more modern look as well as being easier to see the view you pay so much to enjoy!

The finished project will be protected from the elements for generations to come and ready for entertaining!
